The
installation went well - no errors or warnings encountered.

The database was installed on a Windows 2003 server with SQL Server
2005. The database name is Tackle. I entered my SQL Server user name
(myUserID), which is incidentally my NT domain user ID as well.

When I invoked the main web page the first time, the application
displayed a Tackle session timed out error message. The server I'm using is a windows 2003 standard server with service pack 2.

Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. Basically, the installation did not go right (someone else on the team did that part...). I found the tblUsers, made the needed edit to get the Administrator to be recognized (first entry), etc. BTW, I got a very good/quick response from Sean Jenkin -- hats off for agile monitoring! I think this set up is trickier than it should be -- a new Help topic or a link to the Tackle online notes would be very useful. For now... I'm a relieved camper. The installation was successful. It is perhaps some bug with Windows 2000 Pro +SP4 OR RealVNC which I had been using for the installation

CREATED ISSUE: Error 27506 during installation

Hi
I am trying to install TACKLE on a box running on Windows 2000 Professional and has the IIS configured to port 8080 and also has SQL Server 2005.

I get an error when executing dbsetup.sql (line 13) saying '0' is not a valid official language.

Is this something to do with the TACKLE installation or is it the SQL Server 2005 installation that is causing the problem ?

Thanks in advance
Prabhat
